That cranberry jam/sauce is so easy to make, couple ingredients and 15mins later you have that gorgous all for you.
- 350g of fresh or frozen cranberries
- 50g of brown sugar
- ½ lemon juice
- 5x tablespoons of water
- 3-4x cloves
Take a small pan, add cranberries, cloves, sugar and water and let it cook for around 8 mins on a medium heat. When you will hear popping and crackling then you will know, that you are almost there. Stir it from time to time. Check if it’s sweet enough and add some lemon juice.
Jam – If you want to have jam, I would say it is perfect.
Sauce – But if you want to have sauce add a bit of more water and add some pink pepper and a pinch of salt.
Jam is perfect on it’s own or with sandwich or chicken or turkey or even to go as a perfect warm up drink with your tea.
Sauce goes well with turkey and chicken as well. Enjoy!
