This recipe comes from the original Thermominx cookbook and it’s actually one of the best pizza dough recipes I’ve ever made. And what’s more important, I didn’t change a thing! It’s just too good.
- 300g of plain flour
- 125ml of warm water
- 5ml of olive oil
- 25g of fresh yeast
- 1x teaspoon of sugar
- ½ teaspoon of salt
If you are using Thermomix, that’s easy – put everything into the bowl, temp.37 oC, for 3 mins, Dough Making position. Use some extra flour to form a dough and leave in a warm place for 40mins.
If you don’t have Thermomix, take a small pot and mix together warm water with sugar, salt and fresh yeasts. Leave for 10 mins, and you will see, how the yeasts are growing. After that time sift flour, form a whole and pour your yeast mixture and olive oil inside and start making a dough. After around 5-6 mins you supposed to have lovely non stick dough. Leave for another 25mins.
And after that time your dough is ready to be use.
If you roll it out very good, you will get thin, crispy base, but if you prefer thicker, just don’t roll it so much.
It’s all up to you and your family and friends.
Bake it in 220oC first for 5 mins, then put all your ingredients and bake until cheese melt. Enjoy!
